The loan period for library materials is two weeks. 

Students with overdue items have a user status of BLOCKED until the items are returned. This blocks them from further checkouts unless it is overridden by the librarian.

Elementary students are not charged late fees for overdue library material. When an item has an overdue for one month, the user will be billed for the item and the item will be marked LOST.

The AASL Statement on the Confidentiality of Library Records is an integral part of this guideline.

In an effort to support our students, WCS librarians utilize interlibrary loan with other schools in the district. Students are able to request materials from all ten elementary schools. 

Staff working on advanced degrees have access to a larger interlibrary loan network. Contact your school librarian for more information.
