Lost and Damaged Library Materials

Damaged materials are defined as no longer suitable for circulation, i.e. missing pages, writing, food/liquid damage or moldy, animal damage, etc.

Items that are kept more than one month past the due date are assumed to be lost and will have a bill created in the circulation system.

Students are expected to pay for lost or damaged library materials, but will be offered additional opportunities to pay off the amount owed. Refunds will be made for previously paid lost books when the materials are returned in good condition.

Circulation privileges will be suspended until the record has been cleared.
